Dr. Laura Colman

Dr. Laura Colman grew up a military brat,  attending high school in Warren County, Virginia.  Her father is a retired Flight Surgeon and General Practitioner of medicine.    She grew up on a farm and has always had a passion for horses.  She always knew she wanted to help people when she grew up, but was not sure exactly which avenue to focus her passion on.

Upon commencement from high school, she attended college at Arizona State University. Here, she studied Humanities and was very active in her sorority, Sigma Delta Tau. She was later compelled to move to University of Pittsburgh.  While attending University of Pittsburgh, she was elected Vice President of External Affairs, and later, President of her sorority.  She continued her education closer to home at George Mason University.  Active still within the thoroughbred breeding and racing world, she was able to incorporate her love for horses and school.

Dr. Colman moved to Florida, where she started working for a chiropractor as an assistant.  She witnessed life changing events in this chiropractic office time after time.  She realized how long reaching and life changing chiropractic care can be.  This was when she realized that she should be a chiropractor.

She attended Life University in Marietta, GA.  During her time in chiropractic school, she realized how important it was to be comfortable and knowledgeable when caring for pregnant women, babies and children.  She was inspired to seek out her certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.  In addition to her strenuous class schedule,  being a mother and wife, she added 180 hours of  additional education focusing in this special population. After the additional hours, she received her Certification from the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics as well as her Webster Technique Certification.

Dr. Colman's move to Clarksville, brought on by her husband's Army career, has allowed her to serve the Ft. Campbell and Clarksville area since July of 2012.  While practicing, she has contributed to several peer reviewed research cases.  Dr. Colman believes that through research, chiropractic offices can become the first place people go to for help, instead of the last. She is extremely excited to offer her services at Holistic Health Center to the Clarksville and Fort Campbell community.  She believes that chiropractic care, delivered in a precise and caring way can be a powerful and life changing catalyst allowing people of all ages to live better, healthier lives.
